Dear friends and loved ones:

I would like to share the following thoughts with you:

The world's a mirror image of myself reflecting the positive and negative elements that exist in every human being. This reflection teaches me what I have to do every day to deepen my inner life and build a stronger connection with Higher Energy in the Universe. There's nothing wrong with problems. They are part of the universal design. Without them we'd never work on ourselves.

At this moment in my life there's a great deal of silence...deep penetrating silence all around me and forcing me to go beneath the noise in my brain and the never ending emotional tug to a place in myself where I can live peacefully in the silence. Nature is a great teacher. It possesses all the beauty, change and detachment lacking in most every human being. It surrenders to life and death without effort...a natural and organic process foreign to most of us, but nonetheless...there...waiting for us to catch up to it and incorporate it in daily living.

Every human being is an enlightened soul, but most live a football field behind their true selves. They live in the shadow of God's own creation and refuse to step out of the shadow and let love determine the course of action. The shadow world has its own unique attributes. It sidetracks us and gives us what to do every day, but it also blinds us to our real needs: light, love, joy and inner healing. It allows the mad and the blind to dance a funny little jitterbug at the edge of a fog laden cliff. Some say it's a beautiful cliff...a treacherous cliff...one that makes life uncertain. In my own life, I've never known certainty, nor have things of the world made me secure. The only time the fog lifts is when my heart opens and I feel joy and love and deep inner peace.
