August Intensive on the banks of the Hudson

Greetings Everyone!

I hope this invitation finds you all well and reveling in the magnificence of spring! Stewart Dean and I would like to welcome everyone to attend a weekend intensive in upstate New York on August 4th and 5th. We have been fortunate enough to secure the same lovely old Victorian home on the Hudson River in Tivoli that we stayed at last year. Now all we need to know is if you're going to come!

Details:
The donation to Stuart for the intensive is $300. We are asking for additional contributions of $75.00 if you would like to stay in the house for the weekend, and $25.00 if you stay elsewhere. We can accommodate up to seven people very comfortably and possibly arrange more. Food and transportation costs will be left to everyone's personal preference. Maintenance of the house will be a cooperative effort as always. Stewart will provide a taxi service between the Rhinebeck Amtrak train station and the house.

Stewart and I are very happy to host the retreat, make arrangements and serve all of you in anyway possible to make this happen, but we can't do it alone! We and Stuart need to have an idea of whether there will be a minimum of six people that could commit to attending the retreat in advance.

If you can confirm that you will be able to attend, please let us know within two weeks of receiving this announcement so that we can secure the house and Stuart's time.

Email your response to me at: Gourmetraveler@aol.com

Much love to you all,
Cathy

How Stuart helped me.

I was writing on my blog today (as a school requirement-International Coaching Academy) and in school this morning I was told by my teacher Merci Miglino that to work on your website-you have to write how you came to coaching so I decided to practice writing about that and wrote a semi-bio. I just realized I missed writing the things to brag about-if any. As I was writing I wrote very simply how Stuart had impacted on me and thought -perhaps I can share this on Stuart's blog which is part of my blog dashboard.

Anyway-my blog is www.itsinside.net/blog.html if you want to have a look.

Here is my story on how Stuart helped me transform my life-the short version.

I was filled with insecurities, self hatred, lonliness and was fragmented. I found Stuart and although i was very frightened to try-I began the process of being taken apart and put back together. One thing that happened early on was I had to become a little girl in a lot of ways and regrow and retrain myself as I start to grow up all over again. This time I had a spiritual father. Stuart knew his role and helped nurture and guide me through this painful process. Then when i became the right age he said it is time to go to college -as any father would. I went into nursing school. We all have to trust someone at one point or another and connect. I was moored out in the river without any anchors- He was there for me in the important ways and I struggled and made it through one of the most difficult times in my life. At this point i was still rather dependent and needed Stuart to help me find the strength to go through that. Then there is that painful separation process that takes place. Where you want to be independent and you are not then. It wasn't until i found coaching that i really started to find my way. Right now I am a very different person. i have more supports than i have ever dreamed of having and am making new friends daily -with people who respect and admire me and with whom I love. What a different world. Yes, we all need spiritual teachers. Yes we all need coaches. Yes we all need love to grow. That is our fertilizer.

THANK YOU STUART.
